During my recent visit to the U.S. to meet with clients and partners, a growing trend became evident: a 20% average increase in natural stone sales. This growth has been driven by three main factors:
- Saturation of the artificial quartz market: The quartz market seems to have reached a saturation point, with demand gradually declining.
- Health concerns for workers: Recent reports highlighting the harmful health effects, such as silicosis, linked to the production of quartz surfaces are influencing purchasing decisions.
- A desire for exclusivity: Consumers are increasingly opting for natural stone due to its unique and aesthetic qualities, seeking exclusive colors and materials that add value and identity to their homes.
These factors suggest a growing market for natural stone, with significant opportunities to meet the evolving consumer demands.
